Okay my new goals for 2016... Continue my switch to healthier eating and beauty products. I am incorporating more natural alternatives into my daily regiment. Our skin is our largest organ, right? So, why would we want to gunk it up with a bunch of junk? I’ll admit my cabinets have been filled with Bath and Body Works lotion. Those wonderful smells hypnotize you.  After I checked out the ingredient list (and realized I didn’t know what nearly anything was), I decided to end the love affair. Seriously, check this out label. With that being said, I am going to attempt to make organic, homemade lotion with only THREE ingredients. Stay tuned to my progress....

Happy 2016!

This year is going to be a wonderful year!  Don't we all think that to ourselves?  We make plans, write lists, set goals and so on.  This is the year I'm going to make things happen.  Well in the back of my mind right now, as I'm typing, I'm thinking I have go out and purchase some Powerball tickets.  Yep - the jackpot is up to 700 MILLION!  Can you believe.  There will be a few more financially blessed peps in the world after tomorrow night drawing.  But enough about that.  I want to talk about Pantone's 2016 Color of the Year = Rose Quartz.  Me so happy!  One beautiful color but one of my favorite stones.  Did you know Rose Quartz means The soft pink emanations of Rose Quartz comforts and heals any wounds the heart has suffered, penetrating the inner chambers of the Heart Chakra where emotional experiences are recorded and stored. I am thrilled to announce White Tulip Boutique jewelry can now be found at QuirkShop at 23 North Division Street, Peekskill, New York.  The lovely Jeorjia Shea is a self taught artist and designer who works mainly in recycled materials with a strong focus on cashmere.  She can be found working right in QuirkShop on most days and is happy to discuss custom work and alterations with you.   Here are just a few examples of what you can find there.
